Things really changed for me at the start of this year (2019). I am 32 years old, enjoy seeing the holidays celebrated this time of year, am glad to see it continue and grow where I am from too.
I grew up celebrating many traditional western holidays, understand that many have much older pagon beginnings. I tend to look at the years and moments I write about in Kanata Waltz as the beginning of a story worth celebrating much like the holidays, I had no plans to write it at this point in my life, there are a few events that took place before the start of 2019 that seem to be what led to it, some of which I find a bit unnerving & unnatural.
